The Deed
The Australian Horse Industry Research & Development Trust is an Ancillary Fund of The Horse Federation of SA Inc (Horse SA) with Deductible Gift Recipient Status (DGR) Donations of $2 or more are tax deductable.
The Advisory Board
The Advisory Board will be established in 2011 and will meet twice per year.
Members of the Trust’s advisory board represent different aspects of the horse industry & community and/or are supporters of the Trust’s aims. The members serve as valuable links between South Australia and Australia’s horse related interests and the programs supported by the Trust. These volunteer members also provide guidance and assistance to the Trust Management Committee throughout the year, lead community giving programs and help to promote broader horse health & welfare outcomes.
One member of the Horse SA Management Committee is appointed to the Trust Advisory Board.
The appointments to the Advisory Board are for one year. If you are interested in becoming an Advisory Board member, or are willing to approach a colleague or friend who may consider a role, you are invited to email horsesa@horsesa.asn.au to request selection criteria.
The Management Committee
The Trust Management Committee are volunteers who work in conjunction with the Administration Officer on the day to day management of the Trust.
Positions are for one year and are appointed annually by the Advisory Board. The Management Committee for 2011 will be appointed after the first meeting of the Advisory Board.
Specialist experts are invited to volunteer services as required.
Volunteers
